Parting goodbyes are easy, but forgetting the moments are always the tougher turn points. See off to 2017, was easier, but looking into the footprints that it left and peeping in the comprehensive list of activities and movements in Java application Development services, it leaves me awestruck.
To talk about upcoming and moving trends is always the good one pick-ups but at times looking back is even a wiser, as the new trends will follow the trails of the older ones. Times when you want to know where Java is going in 2018, it takes a gander at what we were discussing a year ago.
From the IoT, blockchain security and AI – to the despite everything we’re endeavoring to take care of business talks, I am trying to uncover the core points. Certain are such to keep on being hotly debated issues and few are good to accept as this year unfurls.
Putting a light on 5 of the few improvements in Java technology, have a glance –
I. Java MicroServices now have a new Level
Knowing about Docker is as common as knowing Service-oriented architecture (SOA). Back in 2017, it was prominently famous for complex Java application, but later with the aggregate of Docker containers and DevOps concept, Java Microservices became more efficient.
Any of the complex and big projects require to build in small chunks of independent parts to ease the development process and even smoothen the process, this is what exactly microservices about. Kudos to microservices for letting developers have the privilege of discrete development instead of the monotonous process of working on the whole. Frameworks namely Spring Boot, Jersey and Swagger, supports Java Microservices.
II. DevOps acceptance encouraged by Atlassian Tools
DevOps is an extension of Agile methodology that somewhere overcomes the existing pitfalls in the Agile concepts. Improving security and reliability is a core, so Atlassian moves forth to shake hands with DevOps to accomplish the needs. Java web development company with this, not only drives their clientele to accept DevOps but also it is extending and expanding the toolchain to boost up collaboration.
Add-on features of tools – Bamboo, Data Centre and Bitbucket makes it easier for large enterprises to scale up the transformation and eradicate the pits, with thoroughly controlling the designing and development process cycle.
III. Cool Digital evolution in Financial Sphere
Bitcoin, blockchain, Cryptocurrency and other alike terminologies are broadly in the hype days. Take it any financial or technical geek or the social media and news, everywhere people are buzzing on the topic. Undoubtedly bitcoin so far has more popularity in comparison to blockchain but developers don’t have much technical education on the concept, they are still grasping.
Rather blockchain security, by creating a virtual clearinghouse and a distributed ledger removed the need for third-party verification for any transactions. This has strengthened the security and brought a big and fundamental transformation in digital monetary values, along with mobile security aspects.
IV. Reinforce Deep Learning
Reviewing a million lines of code in limited deadlines is never an easy going task. Visualizing the scenario even give me Goosebumps, but all thanks to deep learning AI as it now amplifies domain-driven design. Domain-driven can be emphasized as only the concerned areas can be targeted. Efforts of deep learning AI in software virtualization model, let the complete concern very simple. Complex code can be visualized and reviewed in the simpler way.
V. Answer to Data Scientist Issues
Data science challenges list is a huge, and to deal with is a way tough. Needs skilled and experienced brains to work upon. But this story and comments are now the older stories, as modern-day data science is addressed with image processing. In Data Science Conference 2017, this point was discussed and a number of presentations where presented just to give a glimpse of next generation Data Science and how it will impact to drive business growth. Combining data with business technical issues is the key to data scientists’ success now and in upcoming time.
THIS is NOT the END, Just one MORE
How can I forget Internet of Things, one of my favourites to explore and research on the possible and existing solution. This time I am surprised to see innovation in an industrial section of IoT (trending in big businesses like manufacturing & distribution). For small businesses, it was simpler to deal, but for big ones to resist each change and struggle with internal inertia is a way a big hindrance.
But, it is no more with 2017 new innovation. An established link can bridge a gap between implementation and business gains, making IIoT a sustainable choice.
Java indeed had a good year with else few more updates too. Let’s see what more is to come up in 2018.
